  1. Rules of conduct: * Please use common sense and consideration for other players at all times. * No obscene language or use of OOC insults will be permitted. * Stay in character at all times. * Guild abbreviations must always be visible. * All players must carry a yellow bag in which items available for looting or stealing must be kept. (For more information please scroll down to the ‘Thieves and Stealing' section below.) * If there is any complaint, grievance, or other issue with a player or guild, it must be dealt with between the respective GMs. * If you are rec
  2. As most of you will be aware, the GMs are currently reviewing the new skills that come with the release of Stygian Abyss. As you will appreciate this will take a little time until we can formalise rules into the RoE. Feel free to experiment with the new skills but please refrain from using them in a rpvp situation until rules have been agreed. From the guild point of view, Lann’Al and I have been taking a look at the aspects of gargoyles. Anyone wishing to RP a gargoyle can do so, however as a gargoyle it will be treated no better than any human, elf or half-breed…that of a slave. However

    Updated two rules.

First, a trade forum specific change. As the rule states, the change has been put into effect because people are somehow unable to keep their mouths shut =) Second, Thankyee!
  4. SAGE is built on a rock-hard foundation of honor, cooperation, strength of character, and respect. It is by these guiding concepts that we hope to make our way in this realm. Please read through our rules carefully before applying to enter our inner halls, because once you have done so you will be expected to adhere to them. 1.All members are expected to act in cooperation of all others. There will be times that you will be asked to step away from your personal tasks in order to assist a member of our guild. When this happens, it is expected that you do so with a smile on your face. A negati
  5. Rules of Engagement 1) No Looting 2) No Ress Killing 3) 10 minute timer after getting killed (You can get rezzed and grab your gear but keep the death robe on and no weapons armed....also stay far enough out of the way so you don't get hit by area effect stuff) 4) Keep it respectful, rp dialogue between two warring groups is expected, but lets remember this is all for fun. 5)Fel is wide open, as are Zento, Paxoku and Guardians Gate....throw in the RP and have some fun with it! 6) No gank fests, if you grossly outnumber the other side offer them a duel, once again maybe some rp "no, n
  6. Is there one place I can go that has all the detail information on transfering homes, placing homes and the rules the cover them, such as wait times! Thanks!
  7. The Game specific rule page has been updated. http://www.uoforums.com/view.php?pg=info_gamespecific It's basically our policies on the sale of items for cash, for each game.
  8. 1. Pull your pants up. You look like an idiot. 2. Turn your cap right, your head ain't crooked. 3. Let's get this straight: it's called a 'gravel road.' I drive a pickup truck because I want to. No matter how slow you drive, you're gonna get dust on your Lexus. Drive it or get out of the way. 4. They are cattle. That's why they smell like cattle. They smell like money to us. Get over it. Don't like it? I-80 & I-90 go east and west, I-25 & I-15 goes north and south. Pick one and go. 5. So you have a $60,000 car. We're impressed. We have $250,000 Combines that are driven only 3 w
  9. One of my favourite things about Europa is the amount of Role-Playing that goes on within the community. I recently started an archer and would like to put him into a RP Guild. While I love the fact that Role-Playing Rules have been able to be agreed upon on a shardwide basis I'm a little confusimigated.... When reading the rule's I came across certain thing's you can and can't do in RPvP, which makes perfect sense otherwise RP guild's would be no different than your average PK Guild. But when it comes to the parts about magical item's I'm a little stumped. If trotting along on your own,
  10. Ok I have read these postings and their all well and good for the PvM and PvPer. I play on UO for role-playing. With that said guilds go to war and fight. The rules state we can only use GM made armor and Weapons, and no jewelry to enhance skills. Here is what my character looks like thus far: Strength: 111 Dexterity: 112 Intelligence: 32 Anatomy 100.1 Archery 120 Focus 113.5 Tactics 102.8 Chivalry 91.3 What can I do to make this a Kick ass RP-PvP archer? My reason for asking this is I was in a battle the other day, with everyone following the rules I was told, I was hitting for 115
  11. i must say, i do like what i see when i read the pub52 on the house rules.... bout time they got around to evening the playing field. not that i can get a house any time soon, but this rocks for the idoc'ers to grab what they can and run! will be in the game... *sigh* one day soon
  12. All guild members should turn up to guild events in uniform unless otherwise specified. All guild members should have their ranks and guild tags shown at all times. All guild members should salute each-other upon meeting. Higher ranking members, and officers, should be addressed as Sir, Ma'am, or whatever is appropriate, not as there names. Respect your fellow role-player, whatever rank. Don't talk over people who are talking to you. When someone is briefing you and you're lined up don't emote or talk at all, it's really irritating, even if you think you're being a clever role-player. Don
  13. Hello to everyone across the lands! The Grand Opening of Trinsic's new Library was a great success. I'd like to personally thank everyone that was able to make the event, and everyone that has made donations. I appreciate everyone’s support and help, and couldn't have asked for more. Our contest was officially announced at the Grand Opening, and I'd like everyone that wishes to enter to do so. The rules so far are simple. It's a story-writing contest. You may enter any story or poem, or even a collection of poems that you wish. They may be of events that have actually happened to you, or
  14. The forum rules state, "If a user decides to post slander, lies or rude remarks about UOForums,..." Technically, posted slander would be libel =) Flame on! (hey, at least I read the rules!) ~M
  15. DRESS CODE: It is advised that you come to work dressed according to your salary. If we see you wearing $350 Prada sneakers and carrying a $600 Gucci bag, we assume you are doing well financially and therefore you do not need a raise. If you dress poorly, you need to learn to manage your money better so that you may buy nicer clothes and therefore you do not need a raise. If you dress in-between, you are right where you need to be and therefore you do not need a raise. SICK DAYS: We will no longer accept a doctor's statement as proof of sickness. If you are able to go to the doctor,
  16. Command Rules Stick to your Commitments Always stick out a battle if you've committed yourself to it. If you're running a fight and you're heavily outnumbered, battle it out to the end and just explain to the members they'll have to get out and recruiting and training so we'll beat them next time. Sticking it out until the end shows that we're good sports, and it is okay to lose once in awhile! Take a Break If you're getting stressed with ICQ and UO, never be afraid to shut it all down and take a break for awhile. Don't feel pressured to respond to every instant message you get, and if
  17. New guild, same GM, same rules. It's always going to be the same in any guild i run. I'm sure you all know them. 1. Follow the Europa Rules of Engagement. 2. Chivalry, Bushido, Ninjitsu, Necromancy are all banned unless it fits your character. Eg: you can only have ninjitsu if you are an actual Ninja from Tokuno, or chivalry if you are a paladin or knight type virtue basher. 3. Be active and take part, if you fail to log into your character for a month it will be removed. 4. Respect other guilds, we're a RP guild not a PvP guild, if you continuously run off on your own attacking othe
  18. 1. Anything we said six or eight months ago is inadmissible in an argument. All comments become null and void after seven days. 2. If you don’t want to dress like Victoria’s Secret girls, don’t expect us to act like soap opera guys. 3. If we say something that can be interpreted in two ways, and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, we meant the other way. 4. It is in neither your best interest or ours to make us take those stupid Cosmo quizzes together. 5. Let us ogle. If we don’t look at other women how can we know how pretty you are? 6. Don’t rub the lamp if you don’t want
  19. source taken from UO U.Hall It seems that I'm reading a number of posts lately about possible scripting/exploiting making heavy use of invisibility/hiding to attempt to cloak their activities. What would people think of turning off invisibility to other players in Tram rulesets? (character turns grey just as you appear to yourself and wouldn't be targetable) Or are there worthwhile uses of invisibility-to-players in Tram rulesets? ( other than surprise parties ) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Well, while I would love to be able to target players that i know are scripting, it opens up a

  21. The Guys' Rules At last a guy has taken the time to write this all down Finally , the guys' side of the story. (I must admit, it's pretty good.) We always hear " the rules" From the female side. Now here are the rules from the male side. These are our rules! Please note.. these are all numbered "1" ON PURPOSE! 1. Men are NOT mind readers. 1. Learn to work the toilet seat. You're a big girl. If it's up, put it down. We need it up, you need it down. You don't hear us complaining about you leaving it down. 1. Sunday sports. It's like the full moon or the changing of the tides. Let it
  22. At one point during a game, the coach call ed one of his 7-year-old hockey players aside and asked, "Do you understand what co-operation is? What a team is?" The little boy nodded in the affirmative "Do you understand that what matters is not whether we win or lose, but how we play together as a team?" The little boy nodded yes. "So," the coach continued, "I'm sure you know, when a penalty is called, you shouldn't argue, curse, attack the referee, or call him a pecker-head. Do you understand all that?" Again the little boy nodded. He con
  23. Hello my fellow Sosarians, I'm just here to let you all know that since we are going weekly with the auction now that we have made some updates to the rules. First the General rules have been updated and are list below: 1. No Spamming or casting during auctions/bidding. This spams the auctioneer's journal which is used for watching bids. 2. Please try to be appropriate while at the auction house. Use the proper language and behavior as if you were at a real life event were respectful manors were expected. No Foul or Offensive language please. 3. Treat your fellow patrons {bidders o
  24. Does anyone out ther have a set of rules of engagement they follow when they a re in Fel? A Friend and I were attacked while farming drags so we smoked him. This happened 3 or four times. After a while I said just one of us should go at it since it doe snot seem fair that we both attacked at once. The only problem I have is that he waited for use to be fighting a drag then he attacked. Even with that I could not bring myself to kill his ride. Maybe I am too nice for Fel.
