  10. One of the names given to Augusts' full moon is the Full Sturgeon Moon. The fishing tribes are given credit for the naming of this Moon, since sturgeon, a large fish of the Great Lakes and other major bodies of water, were most readily caught during this month. A few tribes knew it as the Full Red Moon because, as the Moon rises, it appears reddish through any sultry haze. It was also called the Green Corn Moon or Grain Moon. It was also often called the Full Thunder Moon, for the reason that thunderstorms are most frequent during this time. Another name for this month's Moon was the Full Hay Moon. There will be a Full Moon Ceremony held in the Blessing Circle at the SAGE Guildhouse & Library on Tuesday, July 14th at 6:30 pm PT. Gating will begin just prior to 6:30 pm from Britain Moongate. So come out and celebrate with us and join in the festivities of the night!

Official Ceremonies that are open to the public, but mostly dedicated to the guildmembers in the Templar Order, are held as following: Monday and Thursdays 7pm GMT: Masonic Oath, Taken by the Recruits and Neophytes who have completed their requirements. Wednesday 7pm GMT: Knighting Ceremony, Esquires and Apprentices who have been recommended for the Accolede will Pledge Allegience to the Temple.
