  1. Back in 1980's I was living in Victoria,Australia,as my parents had emigrated there some years previously. We lived at the foot of a range of mountains known as the Dandenongs. I often journeyed the short distance there in my car to visit friends, and enjoy the beauty of the area. Sadly on 16 February 1983 we awoke to the following terrible news. ‘Ash Wednesday’ bushfires sweep across Victoria and South Australia and 72 people lose their lives. (1983) the fires raged for 2 days and below is the resulting report. The highest recorded bushfire death toll in Australia occurred in 1983. Th

Story and video here - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/7782422.stm A surprise visit by US President George Bush to Iraq has been overshadowed by an incident in which two shoes were thrown at him during a news conference. An Iraqi journalist was wrestled to the floor by security guards after he called Mr Bush "a dog" and threw his footwear, just missing the president. Showing the soles of shoes to someone is a sign of contempt in Arab culture. During the trip, Mr Bush and Iraqi PM Nouri Maliki signed the new security agreement between their countries. 8. I had 98.2 parry, 96.5 bush, and 98.2 fence i would go to jhelom arena shield and fence weap no gains. then i got told about the fact that bush kills parry chance with shield. so i went back with a swords weap and a fence weap. with the fencing weapon i didn't gain at all but with the swords weap well i gained. so.... with the fact that i didn't gain with a fence weap, does that mean that bush + parry are useless for a fencer? or was i doing somthing wrong? (tried lance, that double blade thing, kryss, for swords ornate axe, and a nodachi or whatever)

  11. Phew! HEILIGENDAMM, Germany (CNN) -- U.S. President George Bush and Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed Thursday at the G8 summit in Germany to cooperate on missile-defense systems, apparently cooling tensions between the two leaders. The difference is the ways and means in which we can overcome these threats," Putin told reporters after a one-on-one meeting with Bush. WEST POINT, N.Y.(AP) President Bush, likening the war against Islamic radicals to the Cold War threat of communism, told U.S. Military Academy graduates on Saturday that America's safety depends on an aggressive push for democracy, especially in the Middle East. The president took a subtle jab at the nuclear ambitions of Iran and the lack of democratic reform in Egypt. He chided previous U.S. administrations, saying that decades of excusing and accommodating the lack of freedom in the Middle East did nothing to make America safer. "This is only the beginning," Bush said. "The message has s
