We have been lax in our recruitment of late. To rectify this, due credit will be given to any soldier or citizen who helps encourage new members to join through the use of placing Recruitment banners around the major towns and moongates of the world. Particular attention should be paid to (in no particular order) Vesper Bank/Moongate, Haven Bank/Moongate, Luna Bank/Moongate and other high population areas.

Tips:

• Grab some recruitment books (any human can copy them with Jack-of-all-Trades 20.0 inscription)
• Make some Vesper red cloth, or mix it up with red & brown
• Go forth, placing the usual recruitment banners around hotspots
• Be creative, fancy banners draw players eyes to the recruitment books.
• Credit toward promotion will only be given if you make a breif report with screenshots is posted on our IC forum showing your efforts!

Task: Fly the Colours

Reason: Redguard Trial

Attending Members: Ivan Berezovsky (solo)

The principles that the Redguard follow states: ‘Recruit ALL POTENTIAL members of the Republic, be it Stalker, Warlock, or Redguard’. Ivan set out to recruit new members to Vesperian cause (and to complete a second task required for his advancement in to the ranks of the Redguard).

Ivan purchased bolts of cloth from the local Vesperian merchants and cut these into a pile of loose material. The pile was evenly split and then dyed; half red, half black.





Next was to gather some recruitment books. Ivan purchased 20 empty books from the local Provisioner and then headed the old Militia HQ, where he took and copied a single recruitment flyer twenty times.

Armed with his cloth and recruitment flyers, Ivan returned to Vesper bank where he constructed his first flag. This was followed by a second, then a third, fourth and eighth!






With his supplies exhausted Ivan sat back satisfied in the knowledge that his recruitment flags would entice new recruits to join the Vesperian cause.

Very good, replace the black for Vesperian Blue next time. and get some better paintings (or am I the only one who sees inverted negatives)
