Faction Guilds Can't Alliance with Non-Faction Guilds

Player: Can we get an "official" EA ruling on whether or not faction guilds can be allowed in alliance with non-faction guilds?
It is currently possible. My guild has recently formed a factions division within our original guild. We did this because not all members of the original guild wished to go factions. I have been told it was not intended and is considered a bug that we can do this. If that is the case, I would like to know so that my guild can make an informed decision as to whether to continue this alliance or not. The alliance is in place so that our guild can communicate with all of its members.
Wilki: It's not intented, no.
Wilki: It's one of those grey area things that are so easy to do that it probably isn't reasonable to start banning guilds for being allied. However, it is a "bug" (more like a "How the heck did we miss that?"), and will be fixed eventually.
So, technically you could be putting your account at risk if you were exploiting it to do something in PvP that you're not supposed to be able to do. My advice would be to not exploit it in PvP, as cheating pretty much ruins the point of PvP. If a guild has to resort to using a bug, then I think that speaks for itself.
