We will shortly be holding mayoral elections in Yew and it is time for candidates to come forward.
Do you think you have what it takes to aid, support and be responsible for the growth of Yew? Begin your election campaign today!

Any individual can run for mayor, however you must register in Stonekeep before Sunday May 31st.
If elected you will hold one of the few reserved spots on the recently formed People's State Committee of Yew.
Your duties will include handling all domestic matters relating to the citizens of Yew, updating Yewish by-laws, granting citizenship, trade licenses and overseeing spending within Yew.
You will regularly meet with trade officials, militia representatives and the Yewish treasurer and will be granted freedom of the state.

The Mayor has a range of specific powers and duties and power to attempt anything that will promote economic and social development in Yew. Before using many of their powers the Mayor must consult with the People’s State Committee and in all cases the Mayor must promote equality of opportunity for citizens.

On Monday June 8th the elections will be held and you will be expected to give your official candidate speech this coming Sunday (May 31st) at 9pm on Arduin Field.

Mayor is an elected position and elections will take place every three months at which time you may run for re-election.
