The Grand Vesper Regatta

People of Sosaria!
on the 15th and 16th of this month,
the Republic of Vesper invites you to take part in it's,
Grand Regatta!

Think you've got what it takes?
Then come and test your sailing skills in this glorious boatrace.
The regatta will take place over two days, on three different tracks and finishes with a closing party upon the water bar.

(The Event will start at 8pm GMT on both nights at Vesper Docks!)

Sunday 15th March:

Track 1 - The Tri Island Trip

Contestants will sail from Vesper to Nujelm to Bucs Den and back to Vesper.




Track 2 - River Run

Contestants will sail up the river between Vesper and Minoc, circling around the second island and heading back down to Vesper.




Monday 16th March:

Track 3 - The Waterway Rush

Contestants will sail a set course that twists and turns around the narrow waterways of Vesper.




Closing Party - Water Bar

The Closing Ceremony will take place upon the water bar where the winners will be announced and the people can enjoy a fine drink.

Prizes!

The competiting crews will have the chance to obtain 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in order to take home prizes which includes the Anchorage Cup!

1st Place Prize:

Anchorage Cup (Ghost Ship Anchor).
One Captain Quacklebush's Cutlass for each of the Crew.
15,000 Gold coins for each of the Crew.
A crate of admirals hearty rum.

2nd Place Prize:

One Dread Pirates Hat for each of the Crew.
10,000 Gold coins for each of the Crew.
A crate of admirals hearty rum.

3rd Place Prize:

One Model of the HMS Cape for each of the Crew.
5,000 Gold coins for each of the Crew.
A crate of admirals hearty rum.

Rules!

• No cheating/shortcuts or attacking other ships. Anyone found doing this will be disqualified from that race and persistant rule breaking will result in disqualification from the entire regatta. People will be watching! You have been warned.
  
• Evil Races such as Drow, Orcs and Undead are forbidden!
  
• Crews will earn points depending on if they come 1st,2nd or 3rd each track.
  
• Crews must consist of 3-5 members. 3 members at least are required to be on the ship in order to sail it in the race so crews of 5 are advised if one or two cannot make the full two days.
  
• Crews must have a crew name and a name of their ship.

So if yer want to prove you and your crew are the best sailors around and have the fastest ship to sail the seas, then come along and compete!
Everyone is welcome even if you do belong to a hostile nation! This will be a peaceful event and a chance to have some friendly competition!
