The other day I noticed how good my connection to Atlantic was compared to the past. I did a traceroute and it ended at an Amazon data center. This must have happened in the past year or so.

In the past month I haven't seen people complaining about their connection very much. Not like it used to be.

I want to say it happened 18 months or so ago, maybe more. But it does seem to have fixed most of the issues, except when the data center gets DDOSed

Well if you can successfully DDOS an Amazon data center there really isn't anywhere else to go. That doesn't last very long at all if it does happen.
