Hello,

I recently bought a home from someone on Atlantic. After finishing the design I went on a shopping spree for furniture and decorations! But after carefully placing everything just as I wanted I noticed that I couldn't lock anything in place :o

I type 'I wish to lock this down' and receive the targeting crosshairs. But after I click and object, any object like a chair, sundial, gargish chest, trees / plants, nothing happens!

Before I bought the other items, I had two chests with me that I put down and locked / secured with no problem at all, but now I can't even release them! The result is the same as locking. I get the crosshairs, click the chest and nothing happens.

I tried going into and out of build mode, with the result that all my unlocked items were thrown on the curb :( still no luck. I've logged out, exited game, and I even downloaded the classic client to see if it worked there, nothing works!

Please, any help or thoughts would be appreciated.

Often house management related glitches are fixed by changing the house foundation.

You may also want to try and honor something as well. Sometimes a glitched honor will mess up locking things down in the house.

Great replies, thank you both. It was ultimately fixed by a GM, but the root of the issue was not discussed. Hopefully this helps someone in the future though. Thanks guys
