The books that announced the Catskills' Festival were first noticed last month as longtime player Foxie dropped them around Luna. For weeks collectors eagerly awaited the weekend where more than a dozen players would setup vendors. Runes named after players, who would put up vendors at a later date, offered a tease of what was to come.

Foxie, JP, Aaron (Flame), Ducan, Prometheus, Mystic, Beloved, Val, Secret Agent Man, Moon's Daughter, Zolaf, Teela and Bishop were some of the festival merchants.

August 10 through 12th players found a wide range of items for sale at the vendor house located outside of Luna gates. One vendor alone made more than 500 million gold pieces. Some vendors restocked several times a day as big ticket and popular items sold quickly.

This is but a few of the items I purchased at the Catskills' Festival. You could find server birth, holiday, Mesanna, shard specific, event, rubble and now unobtainable items. Other players scored some of the rarer server birth, rubble and event items.

Veteran Foxie also offered various contests during the festival. Moon's Daughter won the vendor dressing contest, Wild finished first in the foot race and Prometheus won the book contest – where players had to match 10 things with 10 towns. Those lucky enough to attend contests said they had fun.

EM Leo took an interest in the Catskills' Festival and stopped by to converse with the host and shoppers.

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. Merchants were told to have their vendors down by tonight. Next year Foxie plans to host another festival!

I want to personally thank Foxie for her work with the Catskills' Festival. The community enjoyed it! I also want to thank all of the merchants who contributed to the success of the event!
