I'm an old school UO Player. I jumped on the UO bandwagon during the beta. I LOVED the PvP. Shortly after they released T2A with Trammel, I went to a custom shard and have been playing there ever since.

I am wondering how current users, who are familiar with classic UO, would rate today's PvP system? There used to be full-loot, open world PvP. All I have heard is that the new style of PvP is not this way (i.e. "blessed" items???).

Is there an "official" PvP server similar to the classic style? Do the expansion packs since T2A enhance on the PvP experience? Why would a player like myself who loves old-school Red vs. Blue PvP return to the official servers?

Thanks for any feedback! I realize this is probably a common question, so if you could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

Hi John,

Discussion of freeshards is not allowed on this site in accordance with being a part of the Ultima Online Fansite program. Theoretic discussions are allowed, naming free-shards are not.

Hope you understand.

Thanks!

The Siege Perilous (sp?) shard is the best bet...Its a more PvP oriented and there's no Trammel. While blessed items does exist, they're in a minority.

Thanks so much for the reply! Do you happen to know what the population size is on this shard? Also, is this shard actively supported, and does it include the other expansions?
