Lord Chaos 10,441
I have had the xbar installed in chrome for a while now, but for some reason when it starts up it uses full CPU power, which slows everything else down and of course makes the fan in the laptop go nuts. Not sure if its a chrome specific issue, but hopefully its something you can look in to.
Nok 4,982
Hi LC, Can you help me out with some details? Like some of your system specifications? Which version of Google Chrome are you using? Mine is 12.0.742.122.What is the make and model of your laptop?Do you also have a desktop and see the same issue on it?Which operating system are you using? Such as Windows XP Pro SP3 32-bit, or Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.How much system RAM do you have? Such as 2 gigabytes, 4g, 8g.Also what kind of processor you have and the type? Such as an Intel Pentium 4 1.2ghz, AMD X2 1.7ghz, Intel Core i7 3.2ghz.These details would be very helpful. Is anyone else here on UOF seeing seeing a similar issue while using Chrome and UltimaXbar?
