maximum stats possible per character

hi all,

what is the maximum stats that each character can have?

is there any limit for base stats? (str, int, dex)

what are the limits for these types of stats:
- regenerations (stamina, hit life, mana, etc.)
- resists (poison, energy, fire, cold, physical, etc.)
- increases (swing speed, damage, hit chance, defence chance, etc.)

after your account reaches 6 months you gain an extra 5 stat points to put you at 230. You can find +25 stat scrolls to bring your max total to 255. You can have as many as 125 raw stats in each str, int and dex, but you can boost these with items up to 150.

the item cap for mana regen is 18, but you do get some inherent mana regen from having either focus or meditation or both.
stam regen is capped at 24 for items and you can also get some from having focus
the max for non-artifact hit point regen is capped at 12 while the max attainable HpR is 18


there is a table at uoguide.com for hit life and hit mana leech. depending on the base speed of the weapon and any swing speed increase that may be added the values are all different.

resists are capped at 70 for humans and gargoyles and energy resist is capped at 75 for elves only.

swing speed increase is capped at 60%

hit chance and defense chance are capped at 45% each
anything above that will counteract a hit lower defense or lower attack penalty that is on you, including the defense chance loss you get temporarily from casting divine fury.

damage increase is a little drawn out and somewhat confusing to some. It took me a while to finally get the hang of it. Generally speaking you can have 100% damage increase cap on your items including armor and weapons and talis. You can also get a potential 100% extra DI from honoring your opponent in PvM from using the honor virtue and having bushido. this is called the perfection system. after you honor your opponent you begin earning perfection with every successful hit and you loose some if you miss. eventually your reach perfection against your opponent and do an additional 100% damage. you get a bonus of 5% DI for being over 100 str. And some spells with further increase your DI by about 10%-25%. There is a 300% cap against monsters that can be reached by the use of slayer weapons in addition to perfection and item DI. the DI you get from havng tactics and anatomy only counts toward your base damage output and doesnt stack toward the 300% cap.
