I understood that at 95, healing will never fail. Not sure if that number was incorrect or if they changed it. Nice to know if anyone knows...

Trying to get a bit more tactics will add damage. As to the template; I stay with one attack skill (Fencing or Archery) and have Bushido.

I like both a melee fighter skill (swords, fencing, or macing) and archery, but I have them on different peeps. A fencer goes toe-to-toe and an archer is on the move, never getting that close. Also, having to carry two different types of weapons. I would stone one of the fighting skills to another peep and add Bushido. Samurai is also a good complementary skill...like bushido.

Nice thing about having multiple peeps on an account is that we can have different peeps to play. I would have one melee fighter and one archer.

Item 1: Having fencing and archery is outstanding.

For fencing, you need one weapon, the war fork. Everything else will be handled by your archery weapons. The idea is you disarm and/or bleed with the fork, then finish with armor ignore/moving shots from archery (or double hit from a double spell yumi. Lovely weapons, those!).

This means that parry is redundant. You won't be holding your fencing weapons long enough to make it worth the effort.

So I'd stick with resist instead of parry.

Otherwise, it's a fun, powerful template which is flexible enough to work alone or in small groups.

My own template:
120 archery
120 macing (I use a UBWS war fork)
100 tactics
100 anatomy
100 healing
100 meditaion
80 chivalry.

I also use ninjitsu sometimes in place of chivalry for PvP, with a few jewels to raise it higher. Mirror images make a great defense if you're dismounted. I don't come up against a lot of mages, so I didn't bother with resist and put meditation in its place. It's very nice not having to deal with MR on my suit. It leaves more places for mana, stamina, hit points, etc.
