Hello all. I've been slowly developing a bard character and thought I'd make my time more worthwhile by using the honor virtue. However, I have yet to figure out how to gain honor while relying almost entirely on provocation to kill things. I did take a peek at a few other websites and posts on here that had honor information, but none of it has helped me. If anyone can offer some advice or info on how to get some honor as a bard, I'd really be grateful. Thanks!

I actually have a prpvoker/samurai I just trained up so let me look into it. What skills does your bard have?

Well, my goal for the character is for treasure hunting. So I've got cartography, discordance, lockpicking, magery, mining, musicianship, peacemaking, and provocation.

I've tried a number of things since posting this and haven't had any luck yet. Anyone else happen to have any ideas or an answer?

Alright, hopefully I'm not going to sound stupid when I share this, but I figured out what to do to pick up some honor. I'd gotten so used to provoking mobs and just standing back while they fought, that only today did it occur to me that perhaps I need to participate in the fight at least a little bit. So after work I came home and got some ettins fighting each other and cast fireball on each one. Sure enough, I was rewarded with honor, although only for one of them. I'm still trying to determine how that works, but at least I'm making progress.

Anyway, in a nutshell, the key is to do damage to the provoked enemies. :)
