Is Studded Leather armor Medable?

I haven't been able to find the exact answer to this. My Armor guy is out of buis it looks like with imbuing going on. Sad. :(

Anyway, I guess my tailor is the worker now, but I am not that familiar making leather armor. Do I craft normal leather or Studded to imbue up with lrc and prots?

studdied offers better resists, but if you dont have mage armour on it then it isn't medable

oK Thanks.. Looks like leather to me then. Putting mage armor on would soak up a big % of the imbue.
