Way back, there was a way (an exploit i think) that allowed you to color items in sigil purple.

Recently we took a new guy into our guild. He returned after 9 years. He told me, he still has a bone helmet and a spellbook in sigil colour. The question is: are these items still illegal? And if not, are they rare and worth anything?

Playing on Drachenfels? Speaking German? Tired of exploring Sosaria alone?

they're legal, but beware of fakes. If an item can have a 5th year or earlier vet reward dye tub applied to it, then its a potential fake.
