Been searching the net for a while, and I can't find anywhere that sheds light on the basic imbuing success chance formula. Stratics has a decent post describing the modifiers for race, soulforge, and item quality, but doesn't tackle the basic formula.

Could someone point me in the right direction? Is it even known? I'm writing a small utility and success chance is required for a good deal of it's core functionality.

There some math on this site - don't know if that helps.

Playing on Drachenfels? Speaking German? Tired of exploring Sosaria alone?

Thanks for the info, but that site's info appears to be nothing more than a direct copy/paste from stratics, without adding anything new.

Basically everything hinges on the 'H' variable in the aforementioned page, but no definition is given for H, except for a few examples.
