Galen, it appears they have fixed whatever it was attacking the site .... just a friendly reminder though ... always have your protection programs updated to alert you of any problems when visiting ANY site ... :)

Yes, thank you.

However, the day zero issue worries me some unless Stratics has taken broader steps....And that's what I was wondering about. With an insecure ad server and malicious types on the lookout for openings, day zero attacks are always an issue.

Posted 5 days ago: Stratics is Back to Normal.

Thank you.

I knew the current threat had been curtailed, and I should have been more specific about my concern.

Do computer literate types here have a reasonable degree of confidence that Stratics has fixed the underlying issues.

Which, as far as I can tell, involved unprotected or nearly-unprotected ad servers, tendencies to call everything a "false positive" rather than deal with the excellent possibility that it was a true positive, and a bit of the old wool pulled over the eyes/cotton balls in the ears?

I'm not a computer type. Also, I don't have any info about who was/wasn't affected. All I know is, I didn't stop using Stratics throughout the entire ordeal, and I wasn't affected. Used the Chrome browser, if it matters. Virus scans still confirm my computer clean.
