Ok, for all you builders out there, how would you like this?

To be able to use the outside stuff inside? Like the short steps and squares and such. I don’t see why they can’t let those be used indoors? You could make stages and all sorts of cool stuff in your homes. And why can’t the come up with spiral staircases?

It would be nice not to have to use the mats to build stairs and stages. Every time you go to custom it drops em and you have to replace them, what a pain that is.

Ditto - I was going to use the steps and a square block to make a dais for meetings, but no joy. Argh! We have the BIG stairs, but I like them small ones too!

There are ways to do it, like many of you know, and as with all things UO, it involves players' "creative uses of magic".

Yeah, but you must have not read my opening post! I don't want to have to use Goza Mats! I should not have to use Goza Mats, Goza Mats are to make the floor look nice! Why should I have to dick dance around with the mats when there is already the item I need in game? And I pretty sure it takes up more space on the server using those mats then it would if they would just let us use the stuff they already have!

Two things...
1) I think every house builder in UO has been wondering the same thing since the customization came out :(
2) I have never heard the term dick dance... first time for everything

Yeah, I agree... you can paint the goza mats brown, but they just don't look like the wood stairs... nor the stone, what have you... Ah well.
