Is there anywhere to see what shard has the most people on it?

When i left a couple years ago the shard i was currently on (Napa Valley) was basically a ghost town.
It has always seemed to me that Chesapeake & Atlantic had great people.

There is nothing out there that will give you exact population numbers. But yes Atlantic is very popular and Ches is also very active.

Atlantic is the most populated. I believe the second most populated is Europa, but not 100% sure on that.

Lake Austin seems to have great EM support... :D The town crier in the middle of Luna bank has custom keywords and a book stuck to his back to remind you what they are! :D

You can find the most populated shard by sorting the shard list by population in the UO Client.
Doesn't give you a number, but it does show which is the most/least popular.

Anyone ever done it at different times of the day to see which ones are/aren't popular.
I made my characters on Napa and when i left in 2007 it was pretty much a ghost town.

I usualy play quite late on England Europa time and there's rarely people on for me... If the ping wasn't bad I'd probably move to a American East coast time zone. the curse of FFXI lives on -_-

I believe this orders it by people online at the time, since I logged in once at about 12 pm PDT on a Monday night and saw Pacific and Baja at the top of the list.

If someone can confirm that the population sort does it by people who are currently online as opposed to how many characters a server has, then that would help get some more specific information about *when* shards are the most populated.
