It's impossible to redeed your house to another character of yours? Or in other words, rename the owner of the house to another char on your account?

Would the only way be to transfer it to someone, and then back to your other char?

As far as I know, that's the only way to change the name on the sign.

If you use the "I wish to resize my house" command, whichever character does the resizing will have their name on the house sign as the owner.

HOWEVER, when you resize your house, it's just like dropping the house - the house will disappear and any items contained inside will fall to the ground so that anyone can pick it up. The only difference between using this command and using the "Demolish House" button(dropping the houseplot) is that for about an hour no one but you will be able to place a plot there.

Given the pain of having to pack everything up, move it somewhere safe, resize the house, then move everything back in and unpack it all, it's a LOT easier to do a quick trade to someone you trust or a second account and then trade it right back. HOWEVER, if you go the second account route, keep in mind it cannot be a trial account, it has to be a paid account.

Word of advice - if you try to resize, make sure you take a screenshot prior to doing it so in case things don't go well, you can always look at the screenshot to make sure you place your old house back exactly where it was before.

I had to mess with this several months ago. Believe me, I really wish they would just have a little drop down menu somewhere in the house menu for you to display who owns the house, but it's probably a bit of work since the house server is seperate from the account/character server.
