I have to share this link because it is the best pirate house I've ever seen! It's on Napa along the shores far east of Yew, Trammel, past the crypts and a little to the south at 75.50N, 8.13W.

The owner/creator, Dragon Slave, has a bunch of pictures posted:

You have to dye one of your banners black. Then use a house decorating tool to raise up the skull (facing south-east) and two bones facing different directions up in-front of the banner. It gives the optical illusion that it is a skull and crossbones banner.

How did they do the skeleton hanging by chains? I have a statue one but it doesn't look like that at all... Very cool house!

That is absolutely fantastic. I'm not sure about the palm tree growing out of the crate on the second floor, but I positively love the opium den idea.

I'm sure the owner of this house will be relieved to wear the 'Lieutenant of the Brittainian Guard' sash instead of the non-piratey quiver once pub 57 Champ spawn rewards go online.

These house decorators are inspiring. This is why we play UO!

Long live the sandbox we all love.

You know what this house needs? A set of those EM items "corroded manacles."

Aren't those going to be part of the new Champ Rewards system?

That's a wonderful house design. Very creative.

Too bad it couldn't be located on a sea-side lot where it would be possible to make that ship look like it's actually in the ocean docked by the building.

I do miss UO housing. *sighs wistfully*

Pretty great. I'm betting he/she got at least a bit of inspiration from WoW's Booty Bay. ;) Makes me almost a little wistful for my WoW days (but not much...evil game).
