The Governor of the PaxLair Statehood on Chesapeake placed a call out to Evil for his next weekly meeting. Governor Winfield, a very well-balanced mage and fisherman, seemed to be compelled to find or bring more evil into the Realm. Why?

Is this due to an imbalance between good and evil? Must the Realm be balanced? Is the Governor leading the Statehood or parts of it down evil paths?

Few know the inner workings of Winfield's mind and even less ... his associations with strange beings of power and skill.

As usual, he widely announced his next PaxLair Statehood meeting. This time it is in a seemingly dark place near a place of Honor.

Deuce's Vinculum Inn, NW of Honor Shrine/Gate, Ilshenar, Chesapeake

What is not well known, though, is the nature of Deuce's Vinculum Inn. What is it? Who frequents this Inn? What stories are told by the ghosts and mists flowing through the Inn?

[OOC: PaxLair on Chesapeake is moving to "themed" weekly meetings. Already PaxLair holds meetings in various locations including cities, dungeons, and mysterious places. My intention is to attempt to bring our "themes" to this forum so anyone and everyone (from any shard) may add "fiction" that is either "officially created by the Realm" or created by the people of the Realm.

I know this is very short notice to gather lore and legends about the Deuce's Vinculum Inn, but if anyone has such information, please add it or create it ... even after our PaxLair Meeting. Thank you!! - Winfield]
