Experience of a Lifetime – Columbus Town Hall, July 7th, 2007

The scene was set at Dave and Busters, in Columbus, Ohio, and the Town Hall for Ultima Online was in motion.

This was my second Town Hall, and the scene was strangely familiar, even though the setting was about 600 miles from the last time I got to be in a room full of people who knew the statistics offhand of an, “Ornament of the Magician.”

The line was already forming at the door to the room where the Town Hall was going to be presented by the development team. Many UO fans were enjoying the multitude of audio-visual distractions, and slowly starting to join into the area where the sign said, “EA-Mythic.” I spotted Darkscribe, Jeremy, and another unfamiliar individual (who I later learned was Draconi) slip into the room and from the window could see them setting up the equipment to proceed with the presentation.

Nicely written and you can find the whole article HERE
