  1. *a report sent to the Captain of the Trinsic city watch, with a copy for Skaros the Spymaster in Britain* This mission is daft. Nujel’m is a city. People live there. People move about and they move their things about. To have a bunch of highly trained investigators go about and list everything that has been changed since last time, with punishments for things reported too much, is daft. Instead, we should be looking for this mysterious fleet that the Sultan is apparently building. And I think we are all aware that that is not on Nujel’m itself. Daft and dangerous. Anyway. In the south
  2. *this edition of the Trinsic Beacon newspaper has the commentary on the front page, along with a massive headline…* Tough. A commentary by Pierre LeCanard, Editor of the Trinsic Beacon It appears as if our commentary in one of the last editions has reached the attention of the court and, subsequently, upset his Royal Highness and the Lord Spymaster. In addition, many of you, our esteemed readers, have approached us with both support as well as concerns. Some of you thought we were being harsh. Others pointed out that this would not be a proper way to talk to a king. Rest assured th
  3. *a report left on the captain’s desk, with a copy sent to Skaros in Britain* Due to other duties in Trinsic I was somewhat late in joining this investigation. I visited all the places and talked to the usual suspects, but seeing as there are several reports on that already I will keep mine short on those aspects. The gist is that we found several corpses on the site of Father Grant’s murder that were neither decaying nor being eaten by ravens. Further investigation led to the Raven King, which is actually a talking bird. Apparently, Blackthorn is keeping these around now since he belie
  4. *a report left on the captain’s desk, with copies forwarded to the Duke and Skaros the spymaster* We were sent to talk to the various important characters of the last weeks again and to try and determine how the individual happenings are tied together. I must admit that I had tried –and failed- to do that before, but this time I came with the royal task and backing, so I was received more friendly than before and had a chance to really talk to people. The first on my list was Skaros. When asked about the possibility of war he admitted that the Sultan is stupid, but seemed doubtful if h
  5. *a report is placed on the captain’s desk, with a copy sent to Skaros* Tonight was a bloody mess. I am not sure if it is good idea to send an ambassador to a bunch of goblins living in an underground ruin. Maybe someone had complained about Snox sleeping in Luna bank and the King is trying to send him away. The idea was to pick up Snox at Blackthorn’s castle, help him get his ship and his things and then bring him into the Underworld, where his tribe seems to make a living preying on adventurers and spiders. We met Snox as planned, but then it all went wrong. When we reached the locati
  6. *a report is sent to Captain Reann, with a copy to Skaros the Spymaster* Some clown was creeping around the lighthouse today. I am not sure who he was or what he wanted, but he knew me and that I occasionally help the Royal Investigators. He told me to find the Sultan in Nujel’m and to perform a delivery for him. I tried to question him, but he quickly fled through a moongate that closed behind him. With no other clue to follow I went to Nujel’m to try and find the Sultan. When I arrived he was standing in the park in the back of the palace, staring at a large chest – and while that his ofte
  7. Not many seem to be left at all. There might still be a decent number of visitors, but they are spread out across days and weeks. In our experience, the amount of people that attend an event when it is announced is small. In many cases too small to make the event feasible or fun to organise. There were attempts to get regular days of activity going and to expand from there, but the attention span dwindled so quickly that it was hard to even reach the points were stuff was meant to happen. Most of the time the count leads to the result of "too few to make it" and so that is it. I am sure that
  8. Sadly I missed it as well However! I found a reportish post: http://stratics.com/community/threads/meeting-with-king-blackthorn-sunday-7th-7-30-pm-uk-time.301500/
  9. The Windsprite will depart from the Trinsic Docks on Wednesday, the 19th of June, at 8pm Britannian Standard Time. See above for further information. Good chances to get involved without High Seas Booster this time.
  10. The journey of the Windsprite will continue on Thursday, the 13th day of June at 8pm Britannian Standard Time. The ship currently anchors at the Trinsic docks, assemble there to take part. Since last week, the damage to the rudder has been fixed and the ship is ready to sail again. Rumours are that the course will lead ship and crew into the lost lands this time. See above for further information...
  11. Possibly, but as I said: drop me a message (PM or something) if you want to take part without a booster. If this manages to become a regular occurrence then we will try to go for more diverse plots and events so there will be plenty of opportunities to get involved.
  12. The journey of the Windsprite will continue on Thursday, the 6th day of June at 8pm Britannian Standard Time. The ship currently anchors at the Trinsic docks, assemble there to take part. As before, all interested roleplayers are invited to join us on our journey or to offer plots, interactions, trades, passengers or whatever you can think of.
  13. *a notice is posted around docks and taverns in Britannia* Captain Flynn Brannan is looking for a crew of able bodied women and men for the Windsprite, a ship currently in the service of the Duchy of Trinsic. In addition to regular members of the crew we are looking for skilled officers and crafters to maintain the ship and attend to the cargo. Training will be provided for those without experience at sea. All members of the crew will be paid for their service. OOC Notice: This is a little experiment following the recent discussion about the state of the community etc. etc. All of you
  14. Just noticed that the thread title in the forum overview does not seem to have updated as I intended. I will make a new one. And we start out at Trinsic's docks. The EMs managed at some point to get people on board by dubious means but I do not think that we can manage that and anyway, the server crashed occasionally when they did that. If you do not have the booster and want to take part anyway then let me know, I am sure we can involve more people while we are docked.
