  1. I stumbled upon UO entirely by accident. About ten years ago I found myself at a bit of a loose end and was sat at my keyboard thinking of games I had played in the past and Ultima sprang forth from my, somewhat cluttered, memory. I struggle to recall exactly which Ultima it was, for anyone who knows it was the one with the murder in Trinsic that one was supposed to solve. Anyway, I had spent many a long evening wandering around that world and it struck me that I could possibly encounter it once more. That was when I found UO. I had never played an online game before and it took some, ra

  2. It's the simple fact of people can be anonymous jerks, which makes them forget other people have feelings too. This is nothing new. It has been going on since the inception of the internet and I don't expect it to stop anytime soon. And honestly, if you weren't upset about it, you wouldn't be posting about it, but here you are - doing just that. You can either just let it go and not let them get to you or you can continue to let them get to you and letting them know they're getting to you by posting about it. I've been in your shoes - probably in worse situations than you - in the past f

  3. 2006: That was the last time this account had been active. It is hard to believe it has been 9 years but it is finally time this account was reactivated and it's characters get to walk the realms again. So return the characters of the Hope Company of the Twilight Fellowship. I had made this account using the new account code of my Age of Shadows Expansion. Expansions were still boxed CDs back then, sitting prettily on shelves in stores. I'm sure I still have the box somewhere tucked away, hoarder that I am.This account holds my very first paladin and my very first necromancer, chivalry and nec

  4. I really wish someone could explain to me why people think its okay to harass people on the internet. What compels some people to say things on the internet that in the real world would get them punched in the face, the stuffing beat out of them or even arrested? I wish I knew, maybe I wouldn't have recently gotten permanently banned from a forum recently. I freely admit I blew my stack. I blew my stack because a group of persons pushed my my buttons to the breaking point. Yes, I did report the group of people, and the people running that forum chose to do nothing. When this group followed a

  5. Problem is, most trolls don't care about the consequences of their actions. I'm dealing with one now...not very fun.

  6. Thank you Kayhynn. I'm not upset, I just wanted to discuss the things that have happen and hopefully explain why people should think before they click. I am sorry you've been through so much bad stuff. Maybe we can get people to talk and think about the consequences of their actions. I hope I can effect some positive change, but things can not change if someone doesn't speak up!

  7. It was a quiet night in Aegis. The threat of bears moving ever closer to the Knights Rest seemed to fade from his mind, as he looked toward the renovations of the Tavern. It had been a long, slow day of work, and Aedon's thoughts turned towards the footpaths of the Glade. Setting his work aside, he picked up his walking stick, and strolled out into the fresh air of the midsummer night. He had always loved this time of the evening. The stillness which wrapped its arms around the Yew forest afforded him time to think, to work out issues of the day. He had a bit of a set to with one of the bui
