Corgul the Soulbinder expedition

After tonight's bi-weekly township summit, would anyone be interested in assaulting the dreaded Corgul the Soulbinder?

There is a Royal Guard training event after the summit meeting, so if that is your duty it is your perogative, but otherwise people are welcome to join this expedition.

To prepare, we will need to sacrifice a treasure map and world map, then get the island location map where Corgul is waiting and sail to that destination for battle.

Usually, the township summit meeting lasts about an hour, til 9:30pm Eastern, so let's meetup at the Red Wolf shortly thereafter to get prepared!

I'll go tonight. I spent 6 hours this morning making the supplies for 400 cannon shots. After going through that much b.s. today after the restocking once per hour saltpeter vendors yesterday afternoon & evening I'm primed and ready to commit mayhem on something with cannons.

Again the timing is somewhat of a question. With guard training for another hour after the summit, the pressure is on of something I really want to do. For those of us under the gun on time, lets hope our greatful host of Glydenfeld will again sponsor yet another trip to the depths of ye deep canyon in persuit of ye great deep water mob. I guess in my case, my obligation will have to stand with the guard tonight. hope another seafaring trip arises... until then.........

Corgul is an island encounter. You sail to the island, get off the ship and go find and fight him, so cannons may not come into play much there, unless perhaps if you lure him and his minions back towards the ship to shoot them with grapeshot.

Also, with the High Seas booster still very fresh, my bet is that he spawn will be super-camped(or the altar where you place the maps for that matter).

Another idea is maybe we just go hunt some pirates. When I was out fishing last night I saw tons in the waters east of Jhelom and was fired upon many times.

I'm sure a number of people have Royal Guard obligations, not to worry, we have many, many opportunities for nights of adventure together
