Second letter to Muldran

*A sealed letter addressed the eccentric mage, Muldran is left in the Rhovanion library*

Vendui’

I do hope you enjoyed reading my last letter as much as I enjoyed writing it. No doubt you are thinking over my generous offer. You see that’s another failing in you humans…. you cant make up your minds, you have no decisiveness. I offer to close the gate and instead of seizing it in both hands, what do you do? Procrastinate! And the longer you do that more of your race die!

Still not that I care one-way or other, why should I? Do I care that Magincia will fall, that Trinsic will be next? Am I bothered? No, not really. The life, the existence of humans means nothing to me…but it should to you. And yet you sit on your hands unsure how to act, made impotent by being fed advice by those who claim to know everything but in fact know nothing! Meet my price and I will close the gate.

Anyway, lets turn to more important things. I intend to visit your library again shortly; you really must sort out the tomes concerning my race. To that end I am going to bring with me a gift. Yes really! I shall present you with tomes outlining the true aspects of my race. That will allow you to burn and get rid of the heretical rubbish you have in your possession. Oh I knew humans were naïve, but I never realised how naïve you really were. That you actually accept that nonsense you have in your library. So it will be my pleasure to rectify matters.

Actually, something else has occurred to me. Whilst I am there, perhaps we can have a little discussion. I have come across a parchment, which was found hidden in the depths of the library in Gargoyle City. This document is really quite interesting, mentions some books and an artefact. Written by a mage such as you by the name of Nidmoan. Sound familiar? Maybe you can tell me about him.

Well that’s it for now until we meet. Oh and make up your mind, do you want me to close the gate or not?
