Lenley the Snitch Quest

Maddux screamed "Lenley get down!!" and threw the confusion potion infront of the ratman archer and doppleganger. The concussion of the explosion and bright flash stunned the attackers and Maddux and Lenley were into the sewers of Sanctuary. "Rats everywhere!!" MAddux looks at Lenley "No offense...but where is the gem???" Lenley sqweaks " Safe, you take me to freedom???" Maddux with a stern look "Give me the......" Ratmen began filling the sewers.

Lenley had fallen to the onslaught of the ratmen and laid on the floor of the sewers lifeless like his attackers. Maddux quickly searched his lifeless corpse, but found nothing."damm it...

Oh a'maelamin! You came so close! So there is hope that Lenley may be rescued after all, and that the seeing stone will be returned to it's rightful place in the Temple.

Excellent effort Maddux. The use of the confusion potion was pure genious, and should be part of any extraction attempt in the future. I'm certain he will be saved soon, and the seeing stone returned.

Way to go, Maddux! Wow! We got to see all 3 pages of the quest! I wonder though, if we have to take him to the wood gate entrance, or if it's acceptable to go thru the tunnels

I still think it will take at least 2 ppl-one to accept the quest and heal lenley, and the other to lure/kill the locals between him and the outside world. Kudos on the info tho, neighbor, at least we can say for sure now what the goal is!

i will have to visit again, but i don't recall orcs in the rat caves........
sure it works though.

I suspect you can go either direction. If leading him out thru the sewer tunnels doens't get immediate results, then continue leading him back up the passage to the outside of the wooden gate. I'll bet you get the quest completion there, just speculation though.

Probly means if you don't use the caves or even if you do you will still run into an orc or two before you it the Sanctuary Entrance.

Do not read to far into it. There are orcs in Sanctuary. Lenley cant be healed by anyone else but himself. Lenley is a mage and will heal himself and he wont bother to help you. Once he is targeted by spawn he will charge forward. Must be a distant cousin of Dip's.

What is it about Lenley that has our mighty Justicar's afraid to go rescue him and recover the gem? Surly the reward far exceeds the danger and amount of time necessary to accomplish such a task.....
