Bandit King
![]() *Binding the wound and applying direct pressure trying to stop the bleeding.* Thinking to myself, I wish Eowyna was here to heal my wounds, but it is good she isn't here. I would not wish her to be near tonight's fighting. Many enemies of Gondolin were slain tonight, but the true evil that hides in Trammel will not set foot in Felucca, for fear of soiling his Fey Leggings. Those that weren't slain fled from the field of battle. *coughs* Its good she wasn't here tonight, for she would not approve of fighting overwhelming odds. It goes against the Gondolin Doctrine of Land Warfare. Now I know that this wound is very bad, if I am thinking about Doctrines of Warfare. Remembers a pool of water near Spirituality and that little trick Eowyna did to warm the waters. "A'maelamin Eowyna..." *takes a drink of water from a cup* Glances past the battlements towards the direction of The Zento Enclave and smiles. I need to rest and go home, but first I need to clear these murder charges pending on me. Small technicalities of the law these cowards seem to hide behind. Can't seem to stop the bleeding.* Lowers head on to the table and passes out.* |

Re: Bandit King
She'd expected him home long before this. Although it was his custom to slip into the shadows and stealth away for periods of time, he was seldom absent for long stretches without sending word, for he knew she worried. The Enclave was quiet...far too quiet. Their friends and allies were away, occupied with their own business. And so she waited for word, any message. None came.
Eowyna stood on the balcony outside their room above the Tavern in the Elven Enclave in Zento. She closed her eyes and tried to reach him with her mind. She could occassionally reach him this way--not with words or direct thoughts--but a form of communication, a sense of where he was or how he was. Perhaps it had to do with her abilities as a seer, but perhaps it was merely the connection between them. Today, however, there was nothing. Merely empty air, and a solitary feeling which made her fear. She went about the daily business of the Enclave--routine business with the Imperial Minister, some details of a possible alliance, checking on the welfare of their small group of elves, seeing to the storage of goods from THE Dread Pirate Bob's last cargo--things that would keep her mind occupied. But as the day wore on, Eowyna found herself less able to bring her concentration to bear on the business at hand, and finally gave up the attempt. Something was dreadfully wrong, this she could sense. She knew where she might find him in Felucca, if things had gotten so far out of hand that there were complications with the law involved. This was not that simple, but it was a place to begin. She placed necessary traveling supplies in a pouch, and a few things she thought she might need in the event of an emergency. She cast the travelling spell and stepped through the red gate, arriving at the entrance to the Felucca keep. No one was in sight, which was good. The front gates of the keep stood closed and silent, and pushing them open, she entered the hall. The stone walls gave no hint of any living presence--perhaps she'd been wrong; perhaps he wasn't here after all. Last edited by Eowyna Rohanna; 4th February 2006 at 05:38 PM. |

Re: Bandit King
It was then that she noticed the smear of blood on the wall near the staircase, as though someone had leaned briefly against it for support. There was a quick flash of fear, and up the stairs Eowyna raced. What she found there wasn't pretty. There was a great deal of blood, too much blood.
"Oh, a'maelamin, what have you done? What have you done?" Sitting on the floor, she gathered him to her and began to search for the wound, and it was severe. Placing her hand over the wound, "In Vas Mani". This, not so long after the horror of the Exile--too much! She whispered to him as she worked. "Llie naa amin corm, llie naa amin quarlani, Llie n'kel amin sii'. Amin ant llie." "Llie n'shan. Amin yel deno' i'poldora en' Fenmarel, i draug, nae tua amin." "Llie naa amin poldora, ent Amin naa llie poldora. Na faer amin. I' lassea en'lathrilli n' cael llie. amin mern llie sal." "In Vas Mani." And, at last, the bleeding slowed and stopped. "In Vas Mani." Now for bandages from the fountain of life to bind the wound tightly. This was all she could do, and the rest was up to him. So, she continued to hold him and to wait. Recovery, this time, would take a while--it would be several days before she could take him home. No matter, no matter....the Enclave would survive for a few days. She ruffled the blue hair lightly -- a'maelamin. It was hours before he opened his eyes. "You need water," she said quietly. "And," with a bright smile, "I brought cookies!"
