UO Weddings ......

We always hear about UO Weddings, but do we ever hear about where they are now. Would you say that they are doomed to failure like how this one pictured above was?

As a UO Cleric who has performed many weddings across Sosaria I am happy to state that only 2 have ended in "doom" (and not the location :shocked: ).
Their reasoning is basically the same as in real life ... irreconcilable diffferences.
So as for my experience, thankfully I would say 1 out of 12 ends that way.

I would say you have a better chance of keeping a marriage in game together than in real life.

Like Mum, I have seen only two in game marriages fall apart, but all the rest seem to be living the happily ever after that I still keep in touch with. Of course those two failed marriages I have seen may be serendipitous.

I've seen a RP marriage that ended in a real marriage. That was pretty cool.

Also, I have seen RP marriages that ended, but with an RP flair. The two families started fighting, it turned into a big thing.... it was fun. There were no hard feelings on the parts of the bride or groom, it was all just a RP thing.

My UO Wedding ended with the groom leaving UO less than a year later. *sigh* At least I got everything from his 2 accounts and 2 engraved rings :grin:

like i dont get it ive seen ppl who were already married get married ingame....it just doesnt seem right
