| The Sleeping Dragon
Tonight, Tuesday May 20th at 7 pm pst, we meet in Skara Brae Community Center in Trammel to form our expedition to head out to wake "The Sleeping Dragon".
There is tell of a creature the people of Isamu-Jima call "The Sleeping Dragon" that holds the land, its' creatures and people under an ancient curse.
It is said that hundreds of years ago a peasant farmer accidently killed a mysterious traveller, that went by the name "The Old Mystic", when the famers oxen stampeded, trampling the old man and crushing his mysterious carved wooden cart. Unbeknownst to the peasant farmer, The Old Mystic was associated with Shen Ku, which translated means "Phantom Passenger".
So enraged and distressed over the loss of his ancient travelling companion, the She Ku chanted in his native tongue upon visiting the peasant famer and towns people: A chime to pay for yesterday
forever lost along this way.
Another for an old friend past
on fortunes wheel did all we cast.
One chime to God whoever be
in blackness we before to see.
Last for you an ancient rhyme
cut in a bell on the edge of time.
An erie bell tolled in the distance and the land grew dark, the vegetation died and the animals of the land became disease ridden. The people and their descendants to be forever veiled in the ancient curse of the Shen Ku until the curse bell is rung again and "The Sleeping Dragon" awakened and slain.
