Here are some pics of a Roman Outpost in Saalburg,Germany. I hope everyone enjoys the pics as much as I enjoy sharing them. Who knows, they may find etched in stone some where: MDX Was Here or MDX Heart EO

Those are truly great pics,Maddux,and yes thank you for sharing the.

I am currently glued to UKTV History Channels Roman Season,even though I have seen most of the programmes before,I could watch them endlessy.

Apart from the usual drama's ,they also have programmes where they recreate the machinery,tools of trade,weapons etc.Its all very interesting.

There are some fine examples of pottery in your collection.Would you know if they were all original finds,or modern day reproductions?

I thought this one had a distinct Egyptian flavor.

Those two pieces were original roman toys of oxen.
