Some Things Never Change

I spent some time on Origin talking to a friend of mine. My friend is a rather sucessful IDOC hunter and has come across some items at an Idoc that are account specific (Soul Stones). A returning player believes some of these items are his, and refuses to pay a "small and modest finders fee" to my friend for picking up these items and holding on to them. If the items are his, then he pays. If not, no payment. Whats wrong with that? Where does it end? I suppose this returning player will want his old home location back for free as well.. What gets me is there is always someone who wants something for nothing. If this returning player cared for items in the begining, he would have packed them up in his bank box.

Well, the Karma Card was dealt by the returning player, but karma is false hope for those in a weaker position. "The weak will inherit Sosaria, but only when the strong have been nerf'd and patched to death."

If that were me, I'd put the soulstone down on the ground inside my house without locking or securing where the other person can see and say "the price will go up 100k every minute that passes, and you know at some point, it will just *poof*"

soulstones are worthless to other acounts i say give them to him free for a price whatevewr but thats it .. one man's trash is another man's treasure

Other peoples soulstones are nice deco, kinda like items blessed for someone else. Can't use them, but nice to show off.

My sentiments exactly. 1 million per soul stone is not much to ask for a finder's fee. Its not only the stone but the skills on the stones as well. infact, I just might get the urge to buy them myself.

As having once lost everything myself when my house decayed I know the heartache of starting over, however he should be willing to pay a finders fee comensurate with his ability to pay.

I guess it depends on the amount of the "small and modest finders fee"

Next thing you know, you "pk" someone, and they will want their insurance back. Hell, they might even want their scrolls back that they were carrying. Worse, they might want their spawn back!!! "Want..want...want...but no on wants to pay."
