What kind of quirks has your character developed over the years? Something they developed, not originally began with.

My bard (Abby);
1: Always has a pair of dice with her
2: Hates cows & milk
3: Has an unnatural obsession with diamonds

A penchant for ham, an unnatural obsession with colored crooks, and running uninvited through gates that people open.

Actually my original chr. had a story line about being an orphaned queen, her parents killed when she was quite young..and that story line became larger than life to the degree that even though she may have gold and her own *palace* now, she still can not pass up free things, be it wool off sheep for cloth, regs on the ground, always remembering being a starving new orphan queen and so it became her own weird quirk...never pass up anything that is as some gift of the gods out there upon her travels, wool regs on the ground, no matter ..it is there to use.. and always remembering having nothing at all quite humbling so she still whisks the *gifts* off the ground even though she can BUY anything now ...she won't ! Not if it is out there FREE as a gift from the gods.

I have NEVER bought cloth in 10 yrs of UO I must have a zillion wool in a stack in my place STILL ! So I still have this quirky passion to never pass up a woolen sheep, I do not kill them ever but their wool is always taken. ALWAYS ! I dont even NEED wool cloth or yarn from wool , but I obsessively still fleece every one of the sheep I see out there every time.

PS. I have tried NOT to fleece the sheep this past month trying to cut down on tons of wool...and I CAN NOT DO IT .. I fail haha 10 yrs of quirky habit, I still fleece the sheep !

As a young swordsman living on Ocllo with my mother I developed a creed of not killing any non-aggressive animals for the hides or meat for our table.

I gained in my skills only taking hides and meat from mongbats and other aggressive inhabitants of the island.

Many years later when I had to choose a profession I chose Chivilry, and have also added the Virtues. I also made a decision to never leave a hunt without making sure all the people at the hunt made it out, if not alive then to be sure that they where able to get back into the world and help in securing all the possesions that they may have lost during the hunt.

Little know fact: I like to drop books on NPC's at banks. Books with titles like "Headache", "STD's", hehehe. (Try it sometime)

I'm on Sonoma and RP is not the best. But, I still RP all my characters. I figure that I can still have fun and that is the most important part. I have a young girl that has five uncles of distinct personalities. I guess they all are parts of my personality and I try to keep them distinct and to "push" them out a bit.

But, as to quirks; Darla's Uncle Trent, being a hardened warrior, tends to scratch diffent parts of his body at times *scratches butt*. I don't know where it came from, maybe the armor rusts and he doesn't care to bathe enough. Also, he has very low intelligence, so the occassional *grunt* pops out. Since I can put such things on macros, it can happen during combat, too.
