Nevermind all that he has 100% packet loss to at&t which is where his problems are.

That's not entirely true
Some routers are programmed to ignore ping requests, which is why you'll allways get 100% loss

The problem he has, is at his ISP's end, imo
Might be worth emailing it to wilki for advice

I can ping those AT&T IP#'s just fine. I average about 22 ms and 0 packetloss to the at&t servers he has 100% packet loss to.
Time to call your IP and tell them they need to change your route.

Re: A request to EA

OK, Cobra tell me you are NOT on cable. If you are, call and canel it today because that is themost horrible conn Ive ever seen....ever. If its DSL, youre in too far from a switching station or something. Youre pingto the second hop should absolutely never be spiking to near 400ms.

Flutter, Pinging and Polling seem to yield different results as far as the 100% loss goes. The data must be tagged different so that the router/node knows whom to ignore and when.

As far as calling your ISP to arrange a different route, youve a better chance at walking on water.

Yep, it depends on who's pinging , which determines wether it responds or not
I get 100% loss

IF the router was faulty, he would get high packet loss on all hops after those "Faulty" ones.
It's the ISP imo

The second hop on your route is usually the Cable/DSL cabinet in your street, so you should get at MOST 10-20?ms response time?
I get 10ms to my 2nd hop, I also get 100% loss on 6 hops to Atlantic, but I get zero lag.

Re: A request to EA

Shouldn't this be in the Gameplay Feedback Forum where it would get more attention by the UO/EA members who do come here? If it is to 'rant' about pvp isn't that what the special PvP Discussion Forum is for? So it gets heard by those who can participate in helping make a change.

Even I as a non fighter knows that they (EA/UO) are working diligently and as fast as possible to upgrade the pvp'rs playing ... thats what the next publish is all about. They keep reminding us to go onto the pvpr test shard to help them achieve what we want as that type of player.
So, I'm not really sure what is expected by trying to point out what is already known and is being worked on.

As for ping and stuff ... Our family plays Sonoma, and we are NOT having the lagging issues that you are havibg ~ and we are situated in Alaska and in Wisconsin ~ so we are not near the main server.
