I hate stupid people

I frequent a few forums. On one of them, I am a global moderator and a host of the chat too. Today someone accused me of trying to hack people there. Why, you ask? My Signature:

Ok, first off, wtf made these people think this was a hack? No one can see the info on it except you. I'm not getting any info fed back to me at all. It's just a funny little thing folks. Get over it and quit being so paranoid. If I was a hacker I could think of a million things I would be more interested in than trying to see if someone is using IE or Firefox.

Second, I have been a member and mod of those boards since they opened. They moved from another site and I was a member, mod, and chat host there was well. When have I ever done anything to harm the site or it's members? NEVER! So why exactly would I start now?

The people that accused me of this are not newbies. They have been on the boards for quite a while. So they should at least know my track record, if they don't know me personally. The suggestion that I would do anything to harm them or the site really hurt my feelings.

I thought I could trust most of these people... to the extent you can trust anyone online at least. Just proves to me yet again that you can't trust anybody I guess.

I am sure people are just paranoid that if THAT information can be sent to you(which is can't but I am sure they assumed it would), they could freak out and think that maybe their UO passwords and users could too.

I know when I first saw that type of sig I got worried to say the least. I don't know too much about the internal workings of a computer, and I knew even less back then.

As for them accusing you of hacking, well I am sure they are sorry and feel very stupid right now.

Sad thing is, stupid people cause havoc to all, themselves in the first place, for being stupid they confuse something and get frustrated with it, and everyone around them who has to deal with it. Patience is a virtue not worthy of these people.

BTW Min, the forum I am talking about has absolutely nothing to do with UO or anything like that. So, it isn't a matter of being paranoid about passwords and stuff like that. No, these people are just being jerks.
