Nevada couple blame Internet for child neglect

The children of Michael and Iana Straw, a boy age 22 months and a girl age 11 months, were severely malnourished and near death last month when doctors saw them after social workers took them to a hospital, authorities said. Both children are doing well and gaining weight in foster care, prosecutor Kelli Ann Viloria told the Reno Gazette-Journal.

They are trying to make internet gaming an addiction, added to the DSM-IV, so it would be an offical disability. Which means people could get on SSI and such because they were "disabled" from playing online too much.

Wrong. The whole thing is just wrong.

Yeah, kinda like how a 20someodd year old can get addicted to alcohol and collect SSI the rest of his/her life.

Or someone who had a minor accident in high school, and in his late 20s collects SSI because of that accident. If you can play video games all day, you can sit infront of a computer crunching data for a living, let ppl who really need SSI get the SSI, you selfish nitwit. Sorry enough ranting.
