The reason I'm closing my account is that your bank is issuing credit cards to illegal immigrants who don't have social security numbers. You are targeting that audience and want their business. Let's say I'm an illegal immigrant and you've given me a credit card. I have a question about it and call for assistance. You wouldn't be asking me for a Social Security number, would you?

The Bank: No sir, I wouldn't.

Customer: Why not?

The Bank: Because you would have pressed '2' to speak in Spanish. We don't ask for that information when calling in on the Spanish line.

Doing Background checks at work we found out that a lot of our Mexican employees were using SS#'s that many other people are using or the Original SS# holder was dead. It was clear that they bought their SS#'s and identifications. We contacted INS a number of times and they basically told us they don't care. To stop calling. We even have a kid who works for us who I swear doesn't look a day over 13 but his ID's say he's 18.

Every once in a while a few will disappear because we try to get them badge for the Pentagon and I guess they're afraid they'll get caught. Or SSA contacts us about the SS#.

We are supposedly a country at war. Yet we can't even secure own borders?

It's a shame the businesses run this country instead of the people. Vote! It's the only way we can hope to make any changes.
