Our cat Guen got crushed by the garage door today. She was unconcious for a little bit and when she came back around was really dizzy and meowing really strange. Unfortunately, we dont have the money for a vet bill so all we can do is watch her and see how she does.

On the plus side, she doesnt seem to be in any pain anywhere and she is walking alot better. Ill be much more optimistic if she has some food and water within the next few hours...

Your Cat and Family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Not taking it to a vet could be a bad idea, just thought that if you had crashed into a garage door and blacked out for a day, you'd be in the hospital. Okay maybe bad example. Hope it gets better though

You may want to call a vet just to consualt with not actually having to take it in or anything but just a way to see if there's anything you can do to make the recovery faster and such. My well wishes are with you and I honestly wouldn't worry to much I've seen cats climb under door ways that were thinner then my fingers lol so they can take some smashing.

I agree with Tovladian...atleast call and get some advice. I too have seen cats get through very small spaces. Do hope kitty gets better quick! Keep us updated will ya.....

On my way out the door to work I checked in on her and she seemed to be doing very good. Purring and moving around fine, etc.

Out of curiosity, I went out to the door and closed the door on my foot and there wasnt much pressure at all.

Bottom line: Looks like we can take her number of lives down to 8...
