Tribute to Ordo Sylvanus

The Glory of Ordo

It has been a year or so since I have been to this building but as soon as land on that familiar patch of grass over looking the water all my greatest memories flood my mind and I have no choice but to smile. It was here that I began my path to the Virtues so many years ago; it is here that I forged friendships I will never forget. It was here that some of the greatest people on Sonoma gathered and I for one am proud to know that I had a chance to fight along side each and everyone one of them.

It seems that this building as stood throughout the strands of time and though she is weathered and aged her foundation is as solid as the day she was built and to be honest I think it had to do with what went on insides these walls that made it stronger then what was used to build them. Though today her halls are silent, I can still feel a presence, when I open doors I see ghost of those who have left this world and they smile at me. As I climb the stairs to venture to my goal, my eyes fall upon things that make me smile such as the old dusty broadsword that lay on top of the chest on the third floor. That was the first Vanquishing sword I ever owned, I gave it to Ordo as a token of my friendship.

On up in Lothar’s private room you will find a series of books that was written by Sir Atlas a noble paladin I have served with many times. The book of Virtues is an eight series read that almost everyone would enjoy. I hope someday to I might be able to write such a series and know that people would enjoy it.

On and up the staircase goes, until finally I am at the top and there in all its glory that ancient stone stands. It does not matter how many times I gaze at it the effect it is always the same, I am awe struck. It is here that noble band of men and woman opened a world a friendship to any who cared to venture with them to defend the realm from all its evils

It has been a long time since these halls have been filled with the laughter and voices of those old friends, too some degree I am sad that many of them have left me behind in this world to struggle on but the knowledge and honor they provided has carried on inside of me and I hope that over the years I too have passed it along to those I have taught and helped. Though many of them have passed on you can still find members of Ordo today doing what they do best, helping those in need and providing friendship to those who wish to take it. I for one am honored to even know them let along say that KmR and Ordo banners have flown over the battlefield side by side more then once. I am happy because every day when I look upon my members I see many of those Ordo spirits living in them as well. I hope to that some were out there in the world of Sonoma Ordo has changed the life of someone else and they to carry on a tradition that many feel has died away.

When was the last time you stopped to help a new player who was walking in circles lost? When was the last time you came upon a dead soul and rezzed them out of the kindness of your heart? You have done it before no matter if you are red, pvp, pvm or what ever you do in this world we live in. You have done it have you not...

I guess a small part of what Ordo Sylvanus did is in all of us.

Re: Tribute to Ordo Sylvanus

Had I known you were going to visit the old tower Dragon I would have stopped by and dusted! *smiles* Thank you for remembering Ordo...so many wonderful friends *sighs*

The tower is located west of the Spirituality shrine (trammel) at the end of the river (coordinates 80 25S 7 18E). I also locked a rune to the Ordo Sylvanus Library and Reading Room on the step. It isnt finished but has/will have stories, biographies of some of the members.

We are honoured that you thought of us Dragon.

Strength and Honour
Miri of the Gentlebreeze,
Ordo Sylvanus
