Well, long story short I was approximately 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 months along (not quite to where you tell the world you are expecting) and after an amazing hormone onset 72 hours ago I began bleeding at 2pm local yesterday and passed what was likely the baby at 3am this morning. I went to the er this afternoon after failing to find a doctor that would take a new patient on saturday. After a lot of waiting, 10-15 minute ultrasound, pee in a cup, a couple blood draws and various other health checks I'd prefer not to detail it shows I was pregnant, but the womb is empty and hormones dropped/dropping I guess. I was asked to go back to the doctor tuesday for a couple more blood draws. I feel fine, a thorough check shows me to be in good health, just very exhausted. So, everything aside, I am tired and mentally recovering from the sudden loss after eagerly looking forward to telling folk for so long. At least I know why I was having such wretched hormonal mood swings and that they are going away. No fussing over me, I am in very good health. As I kept being assured, it was likely something wrong with the little one itself. PS thankyou to those that do care. I was rather suprised when I had an influx of icqs. It helps. At least it throws things back into perspective as to how much of a game UO and all things related is. |
