Sonoma Community Holiday Home Decorating Contest

After viewing the 15 entries for the Sonoma Holiday Homes Deco Contest, the Whispering Rose Radio judges went to work on their choices.

After more than four hours of discussions, 2 cartons of eggnog, and a plateful of christmas cookies they wiped their brows and delivered the following message with a twinkle in their eyes.

'Although all the Holiday Homes deserve a round of applause and are certainly filled with the spirit of the Holidays we could only choose one BEST for these categories:

* Spirit of the Season Award* goes to Santa's Sonoma Home, owned by TorAnn and located in Felucca. Prize of 500K and 2 Heritage tokens

* Most Creative Award * goes to Sugar Plum Inn, owned by Karn and located in Luna. Prize of 500K and 2 Heritage tokens

* Best Display Award * goes to Blanca Navidad (White Christmas), owned by Vivi and located in Luna, Prize of 500K and 2 Heritage tokens

* Bah Hum Bug Award * - Even a Grinch can Catch the Magic ... goes to Bad Santa Tower, owned by Olga Jerwinkle and located in Felucca. Prize of 500K and 2 Heritage tokens

At the wish, and sponosorship, of the WRRAD judges a special category was added at the end of judging -

*Grand Prize winner Award from Whispering Rose Radio goes Santa's Supply Shack, owner NEKEDLADY and located in Trammel. Prize of 2 MILLION GOLD.

All the other Holiday Home entries receive 25K and 1 Heritage token:

All of the houses are wonderfully decorated and you can tell there was a lot of imagination and thought that went into each one. Thank you for the Christmas tour Queen Mum

we all had a great time and got to see all the houses up close, and they are all beautiful.

I had a blast doing the bad santa tower (is on a different account than the one tor's is on) I am keeping the doors open anyone who happens to want to see it be sure to read the books...they are fun and add your name to the naughty list!

Thank you Mum for such a great event! Loved getting to go as a group and see everyones home. I will leave the giant tree up for a few more days, Im dying to start on my Valentines day house, everyone is welcome to stop by and visit, beware of the spawn tho it can be nasty at times.

It is...I had that tower years ago (my now ex husband) is the one that made the chess board. when I took a break I handed to guildies who always kept it in the guild and didn't change the roof. So when I got it back it was all most the way I left it when I took my break. Now I have it back and the chess board will stay.
