I have been asked if it is a 'mages only" tourny, and the answer is no. Most any form of combat is doable as long as those fighting can be in chicken form.
I also have been asked if hiding/stealthing is allowed, and the answer is yes, with there being an open knowledge that the judges might reveal people at any given time and if you are found to be hidden/stealthing while out of chicken form, you will be ejected from the fight.
Last question was "what happens when others come out of polymorphed form" and the answer is very simple. They are valid targets as long as they are in the combat area and NOT a judge. Kill them while they cast polymorph if you like, but under no circumstances can someone not in chicken form do anything except try to cast polymorph.

Each week we will be having a giveaway of cash (roughly 2mil a week) to people dum...err, enterprising enough to enter our contests. Here are the four contests in chronological order, along with a brief idea of what will be going on. Following that will be the rules for the first week (each week we will post the rules for the following week's event)
Week 1: Chicken Fight - Mage combat with a few twisted rules
Week 2: Bikini Brawl & Fight Club - Clubs will be the only weapons in use, so save your best; other rules will make it more interesting
Week 3: Pin the Tail on the Ancient Wyrm - Stealther Event
Week 4: Llama Herding 101 - contests surrounding Llama Vortexes including fastest Llama summoned, EV obstacle course and more
Ok, rules for the First Week - Chicken Fight

Chicken Fight
Date: Saturday June 3, 2006
Time: 3pm pst
Location: Keepers of Balance Events house, located a few screens directly SW of the Western Bridge from Umbra (18'22N 36'12E) in Malas
Qualifications: Must be able to cast Polymorph (with or without a scroll, doesnt matter)
Prizes: Minimum prizes are - Champion 1 million gold, 2nd place 500k gold, 3rd place 250k gold. (if judges deem high enough participation, additional monies will be added)
Rule 1) All combat MUST take place while in chicken form, this includes healing/curing etc. If, during the combat, you revert back to your human/elf form, you must move to the edge of the arena and return to chicken form before doing ANYTHING else that effects the outcome of the event, including hiding. Anyone attempting to circumvent the spirit of the event rules will be eliminated. (method to be determined on the spot by the presiding judges)
Rule 2) No pets, summons, or other creatures will be allowed, including Vengeful Spirits etc.
Rule 3) If enough participants are available, the event will be run in heats, with each heats victor moving on, otherwise it will be a single heat.
Rule 4) Combat is to the death. Anyone leaving the arena shall be deemed OUT of the tournament.
Rule 5) Judges will consist of members of K-B and KB-E and will be OFF LIMITS for attack. Anyone chosing to attack the judges will be promptly eliminated from the tourny.
Rule 6) For the duration of the contest, all participants must join the Keepers of Balance Events guild (KB-E) ('floating stone' in days of old)
Rule 7) Decisions by the judges are final and beyond contestation.
Anyone chosing to ignore these easily understood rules will be eliminated from the combat, the tournament and the event house. In the case of blatant disregard of the rules by contestants, the judges will take ALL necessary actions to allow the event to continue in the manner it is intended.
A little detail for WHY we are holding the event in this format. In the past, certain individuals have decided that they might interfere in player run events, just to cause problems. We are hoping to set a standard for how to minimize that occurance by doing several things. First, by having the event in a player owned house designed for seating and fighting; anyone attempting to cause issues may be removed from the house to stop them. Secondly, the KB-E guild will be in a state of war during the event, disallowing others from casting heals and so on, as beneficial acts cannot take place on warring members. These two provisions should allow for a more easily run event.
