'My UO Tale' Essay Contest ...

“There is a fine line between playing UO the game and becoming one with your UO character inside the game” …

Write an autobiography of your UO Character’s life on Sonoma. Whether you play a mage or warrior, a crafter or fisher, a murderer or thief, a ninja princess or samurai king, an elf or a tamer, we want to hear the tale of your favorite UO Sonoma character. When did you arrive on Sonoma? What is your lineage? Who has influenced you? How have you achieved your profession? Share your UO Sonoma character life tale and be entered to win a custom designed furnished home donated by the Sonoma Angels of Light [SAL] or one of the other fabulous prizes.

Entry Details:
1. Write an autobiography of your favorite UO Sonoma character.
2. Use a 40-page journal for your tale. Your autobiography can be any length as long as it fits into one 40-page journal. The 40-page journal is blue covered and purchased through any NPC Provisioner at any provisioner shop.
3. Give your autobiography tale a TITLE. Example: A Thief’s Tale.
4. Put your UO Sonoma Character name as author and on last page how to contact you.
5. Contact Queen Mum by PM or ICQ # 168-812-018 for entry pickup.

Entries will be judged on creativity and not grammar but we do ask you to watch punctuation so it is easier for the judges to read your entry. *Foul language, racism, sexism, religious hate, and overly suggestive sexual themes will disqualify an entry. Judges claim the non-disputable right to disqualify entries.

Entry Deadline:
Friday, September 15, 2006 ...
Noon (PST), 1:00pm (MT), 2:00PM (CST), 3:00PM (EST), 9:00AM (HI) and 11:00AM (AK).

Winner Selection and Prizes:
Entries will be voted on by special guest judges.

1st Place (Grand Prize) - Custom designed furnished home by Armani & Love Spirit.
Donated by the Sonoma Angels of Light [SAL]. Located in Trammel (21o 10’N – 18o 50’W).
2nd Place - 100K Gold
3rd Place - 50K Gold

Each eligible entry will receive a special recognition award of 5K.

Winners announced during the closing ceremony of the Tokuno Summerfest.
