Looking for interesting, functional rares

Well, since Doom rares are easy to get now and Madrid has been letting me help him pull CCs off the Dreadhorn, I find myself without much left to buy.

But I want to spend!

Are there any event rares left on Sonoma, from the EM days? I'm guessing they've long since migrated to other shards...

Don't make me buy overpriced powerscrolls! Sell me your functional rares!

What is a functional rare, you ask?

- It's rare (duh)
- It does something, preferably while you wear it
- It does NOT merely use up a lockdown and look pretty

Some examples of a functional rare:

- Royal Investigator's Cloak (wearable, boosts skills)
- Other EM items that may be unique or blessed
- Singing ball (looks pretty *and* does cool stuff)
- Water tile (nothing like fishing from home)
- Mini-house deeds. (It's a deed! It's a house! It's a deed! It's a...)
- Item bless deed. I actually saw one of these for sale and just looked at it and cried until someone bought it for far more than my entire UO worth.

Some examples of a non-functional (and non-desireable to me) rare:
- Rubble
- No-draw tile
- Lampposts

I'm on the fence about statues.

Does this mean all the interesting event items, etc, have long since Cross-sharded away from Sonoma?

Or they holding on to them, or they are like me, don't have any to sell.

most Sonoma EM event items were 'pretty' deco things ...
Rarely did Masara/Jade Hushenhoy hand over items that would benefit one player more than the other in terms of weapons, armor ....

Heck even the 'Golden' sewing kit that was awarded during the Relvinian Fall Fashion Show was 'deco' (that one of a kind item was sold off shard

we tried to save it but the bidding went beyond any sentimental value ... greed vs ... oh well I still have the Relvinian Robe that mum won from that event as well as Farimar gave me the matching cloak he won ....)

any other event items that we have managed to acquire from the EM events are proudly displayed at our family memorial home ... and nope not for sale ... ever ..

Shoot. Sounds like I'm going to have to get adopted by the Lancermanes.
