Just crafted some 89 resist sleeves...

Is this common? And, out of curiousity, what sort of wealth would one expect to trade for nicely balanced arms of this nature, with no other mods?

I'm not looking to sell, since they now give me a MR 11, near perfect 70s suit with 94% LRC and 24 LMC...just curious...

Arms Lore bonus is really making a difference with the new runic intensities!

they aren't really worth that much.. maybe a few hundred key.

A few hundred thousand gold is a fair bit to me.

Still, this is what we call 'power creep.' When well-balanced 89 resist med armor is considered throw-away...

Frankly, I'm surprised. With all the artifacts out there, a piece like this really helps balance a suit - unless you're forced to wear Midnight Bracers. I certainly am not going to let them go =D

its no that they don't help balance any suit.. its just it doesn't add much more to resist.. I can build a suit with just decent resists.. and have insane mods, as opposed to relying on finding those resists I need around the higher resist pieces to replace the mods..

lemon's answering mostly from a pvp perspective as well...to a pvper, they really aren't worth as much as they would be to another player. Since I learned to price armor and weapons from pvping, I'm in agreement with lemon. It's a nice piece, but I couldn't use it.

Oh - and I forgot to mention that these were crafted with a horned runic kit.

Man, I am *loving* the new runic distributions. I boggle to think what people are creating with barbed kits. I've only ever had one, and I sold it years ago when the prices were higher than the 2M they sell for today.

I understand the comments now, from a PvP perspective. As a dedicated PvMer/OOoOooOer, I really have no concept of what's 'good' for that other crowd.

Still, I will hug these sleeves and love them and call them george. Now, if my second (and only other) horned kit would stop producing GARBAGE, maybe I can get a better set of pants. Honestly, how many pieces in a row can you get nightsight/self repair/lower requirements/reflect on??! Sheesh.

I've burned 23 Horned Runic kits still looking for the "right" piece for a particular suit. That give you any idea? lol
