Thumbs up 'if you CAN stand the heat...' ~ TOD continues

Gathering at the west docks in Serpents Hold, we prepared for a fun expedition through the next dungeon on the Tour of Dungeons ~ Lost Lands.

As we stepped into the dungeon, we were warmly greeted by monsters defending their Fire Dungeon entrance…

our guides, warriors and healers went into immediate action and cleared the way for us to go deeper into the dungeon…

Then the tour guides led us on a 'side trip' to what looked like a tight rope and showed us how we could cross without falling into the pit of boiling lava (it really looked like we were skipping across the wire, even the dragon was smiling)

All along the way in Fire Dungeon similar creatures waited for us,

fire breathing serpents, lava lizards and hell hounds were breathing down the groups’ neck ….

but the group was determined to complete the tour in one piece …

Some monsters were extremely dangerous, but the skills of our tour group proved no match for them as quickly the monsters were killed and we continued …

and after many slain monsters, we reached an underground graveyard …

Liches were constantly casting powerful spells at the adventurers …

but they were no challenge to the brave fighters in the tour group.

We continued on to our next destination …

to descend to the next level,

unsure about what lurked down there,

so this newbiefied dungeon crawler requested a ‘pit stop’!...

After taking a few pictures we continued to where small stone chambers were found in some caves…

‘Not easy to find your way alone the first few times’, I was told … (that’s the nice thing to say to a newbiefied dungeon crawler who gets ‘stuck’) …

Some chambers contained fire elementals, and one was the home of liches and the lich lord…

and we also got the chance to see wild fire steeds in action …

Before ending the Fire Dungeon tour, we visited the chamber of the daemons …

where a large daemon greeted us but it was quickly dealt with by the group.

In the daemon chamber was a big red pentagram. The group tried out the teleporter of this pentagram and found an empty secret cave which has flames shooting out of the floor in a circle.

Then it was time to head back to the entrance, as this was a round trip, so the group backtracked and once again we were faced with monsters at the 'exit' to Fire Dungeon.

This time the monsters seemed more determined that we were NOT to leave their ‘pit’ of death, but our group was more determined to see the west docks of Serpent’s Hold.

After sharing experiences and a few ‘brews’ the group agreed that …

“if you CAN stand the heat … then Fire Dungeon is well worth the trip ...”.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the fiery fun, it was a blast!!
