Re: "The Clock is Ticking in Moonglow" ...

Happy to say ... there will be at least one FA Station if and when Glow gets hit. Last night we went and plotted out tactical areas for defensive strongholds

Again, thank you ^Wolfie^, Kimi Mori, Wendy Risks for the heads up, and to TM for helping us plot strategic areas ...

The First Aid brigade has pinpointed locations close to the town gates for the aid stations and we have started contacting home owners around the area for backup support locations .. so we are preparing if the need arises ... :cheesy:

Moonglow was a fun invasion! We had areas set up in town, as well. Not as impressive as the one in your screen shot...but good enough to help at the time.

Know that KmR will be armed and ready to defend at the drop of a hat, should an invasion begin!

Re: "The Clock is Ticking in Moonglow" ...

Oh yes Mysti, the inside aiders were fantastic!! .. and the first aid boats too ... they sure came in handy to deliver more supplies and armed forces (these bad guys were running over the town and spilling out into the surrounding areas) ....

*TY KmR for being prepared to defend our lands as always!!

Re: "The Clock is Ticking in Moonglow" ...

If we are wondering why this is might be happening ... (I know I am )
we think it has to do with the following news from BNN ... (which also is a quest)

Quote:

World News :
Current Event : The Mage's Apprentice The Mage's Apprentice
Anderson the Scribe Jan 12 2007 7:43PM

“Wexton!” Kronos yelled, his voice somewhat muffled as his head was almost entirely inside a huge box of parts.

“Yes, Master?”

“WEXTON!”

Wexton blinked, then leaned closer. “YES, MASTER?”

Muttering, Kronos extracted himself from the box.

“Oh, there you are, my boy. I need a few items to finish this off.” He rummaged around in his robes, produced a crumpled piece of paper, and swiftly jotted a few notes. He handed the paper to Wexton. “Be a good lad and run out and fetch these for me, will you? And be quick – we’re nearly done!”

Wexton read over the list, his eyes growing wide. Why, to get that he’d need to kill… and this was only found in… “Oh, by the Virtues! How am I going to get these things? I’m a researcher, not an adventurer with magic armor and a glowing sword…” he trailed off. “Hmm. Getting these things would certainly be an adventure. I’m sure I can find someone to help.” He brushed the dust off his apron, raked his fingers through his beard, and squared his shoulders. As he walked out the door, Kronos popped his head up again.

“Wexton! Where are you going? It’s not yet mealtime.”

Wexton turned, puzzled. “To get thy things, Master. Remember?” He held up the parchment.

Kronos frowned at him, then shook his head as if to clear it. “Oh. Hmm. Yes, very good. Run along, boy.”

Wexton frowned. Blackrock certainly seemed to have an odd effect on those around it. It was a good thing his master was only looking for it in the interests of pure science. He stepped outside, squinting in the bright sunshine, then turned to head to the Lycaeum to look for adventurers.

Re: "The Clock is Ticking in Moonglow" ...

I had forgotten all about that invasion in Moonglow! I don't see how, since my body littered the ground everywhere in town.

I wonder... is this tied in with the book of truth quests? And what about that odd gate on the water outside of the bank of Magincia? Does it have anything to do with the upcoming release of UO:KR?

Guess I have to wait and see! lol

Draconi has a wonderful way of dropping subtle hints .... from UO U.Hall
Something Under Construction in Moonglow!!!

I'm no Time Lord, but if we built a clock tower it might get hit by lightning and be totally ruined in a highly publicized event.

Although, I guess there's a rare chance it could produce 1.21 "jig"-awatts of power that would enable an ethereal mount traveling at 8.8 tiles per second to...
... nahhhhh.

*thumbs up* Yes, the Beer Garden will be restored to its pristine glory once all the mages clear out

Ahhhh that's my hometown and base for banking and shopping! Those darn 'blackrock meddlers' are just asking for trouble -- if this is related to that!

I will have to hide out in Yew or Britain for now, then!

Mum, if you need volunteers for the first aid stations, I will gladly attend to help res, heal, gate and whatever else you might need! just send me an icq and I will help out whenever I'm on!
